The stove has 3" rear vent and is vented straight through the wall. The stove does not have auto ignite, you have to manually light the stove. There is an adjustable fuel & room air knob, run/auto off switch. This would be perfect for an old wood gobbling fire place, a smaller garage or hobby bldg.
